Your New Role
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of the full project lifecycle, overseeing complex engineering and automation projects from customer specification through design, build, testing, installation, and final customer acceptance. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, coordinating resources, managing stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement throughout project delivery.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing end-to-end delivery of engineering, manufacturing, automation, and robotics projects.
- Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Leading project review meetings and design gate reviews to ensure project readiness and risk mitigation.
- Monitoring project performance, cost control, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
- Managing customer relationships and providing regular project updates to key stakeholders.
- Coordinating cross-functional engineering, automation, and mechanical build teams.
- Identifying and resolving technical, operational, and commercial risks.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project execution and delivery performance.

What You'll Need to Succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Proven experience managing engineering, manufacturing, automation, or technical projects.
- A strong technical or engineering background.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using project management software such as MS Project or similar tools.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable:
- Degree qualification within Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- Project Management certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma qualifications.
