Job Opportunity: Project Manager

Harris Interiors are looking for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking Project Manager to join our growing team. Following a sustained period of growth, we are now looking for an established Project Manager looking to make their mark within a developing business, helping to maintain our current high standards of workmanship and quality, drive further growth, all whilst developing their own skills and experience.

General duties will include managing fast-paced and complex Fit-Out and Refurbishment projects, typically within the Hospitality and Leisure Sectors. You will be responsible for overseeing a number of live projects at varying stages, assisted by experienced and dedicated Site and Commercial Teams.

The role would suit a Project Manager looking for stability, progression, autonomy and the chance to work on many unique projects across the U.K.

The Candidate Will:

  • Act as the main point of contact for our clients and ensure that our projects are kept to programme, and to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Prioritise Health and Safety throughout all projects.
  • Maintain Harris Interiors’ high standards of workmanship across all projects.
  • Understand client requirements and foster good working relationships with a wide range of clients’ stakeholders.
  • Produce realistic and achievable work programmes in line with project timescales and resource requirements.
  • Have good organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Plan and coordinate a wide range of operations day-to-day across our site and office teams.
  • Prepare and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements alongside other H&S information required for CDM and HSE requirements.
  • Attend meetings and pre-starts across the U.K. as required by the Business.
  • Conduct property surveys on a range of sites for Commercial and Operational use.

The Candidate MUST have:

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Good IT Skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Relevant Project Management Qualifications (SMSTS / NVQ’s etc.)
  • Construction Project Management Experience, Ideally in an Interior Fit-Out Background (Preferred but not essential).
  • Proven track record in maintaining supply chain relationships.
  • Experience delivering multiple successful projects at the same time.
  • Experience in managing multiple sub-contractors across a number of ongoing projects.
  • Strong Planning, organisational and communication skills.
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of project costs.
  • Great interpersonal skills to help develop and foster relationships with clients and colleagues.
