Project Manager - Fixed Term Contract
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager on a 1-year Fixed Term Contract, reporting to the EU Functional Lead for Merchandising, Food Safety & Quality Assurance and Sustainability. Working within the Supply Chain and Merchandising Technology team, you will play a key role in delivering complex technical projects across Europe, including the Supplier Suite/PGI programme.
The role offers hybrid working, with 3 days per week based at either our Ashford, Kent or Hemel Hempstead office, alongside the flexibility required to support project delivery across Europe.
You will take end-to-end responsibility for project delivery, managing projects from initiation and planning through to implementation and successful transition into BAU. Accountable for delivery against agreed time, scope and budget, you will ensure requirements remain aligned to project objectives and that appropriate governance, project methodologies, RAID management and controls are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Hold a recognised Project Management qualification
- Bring strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Engage effectively with sponsors, business teams, technical specialists, and senior stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Proven change management experience, ideally involving the deployment of technology across multiple sites
- Experience managing third-party system integrators and external delivery partners
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to successfully manage change through to operational adoption

Requirements:
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and adaptable
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
