Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Hays Technology is partnering with a leading global financial services organisation in the recruitment of an experienced Technical Project Manager to join a high-profile Markets Transformation programme. This role sits within a team responsible for delivering strategic change initiatives focused on Capital, RWA and regulatory transformation across the Markets business.
You'll work at the intersection of business, data and technology, partnering with senior stakeholders and technical teams to drive delivery of complex initiatives within a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the delivery of technical and data-focused workstreams across large-scale transformation programmes.
- Working closely with business, technology and data teams to understand requirements and translate them into practical delivery plans.
- Breaking down complex problems into clear deliverables and coordinating the successful execution of project milestones.
- Managing project timelines, dependencies, risks and issues to ensure delivery remains on track.
- Collaborating with Data Leads, Front Office Technology teams and business stakeholders to define and implement solutions.
- Escalating risks and blockers proactively, engaging senior stakeholders where required to maintain project momentum.
- Producing high-quality project reporting, governance materials and updates for senior management and programme forums.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will be expected to possess the following skills/experience:
- 5 + years' operating as a PM in an enterprise environment
- Experience within investment banking, capital markets or financial services.
- Knowledge of Capital, RWA or regulatory change initiatives.
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes and capital markets operations.
- Experience working with derivatives, repo products or securities financing transactions (SFTs).
- Exposure to Front Office technology, Product Control or Middle Office functions.
- Subject matter expertise within one or more capital markets product areas.
- Experience delivering cross-functional transformation programmes involving business, data and technology teams.

This role will require you to be in the Belfast office 3 days per week. Only candidates with the ability to attend the office will be considered.
