We are looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Project Manager to join our Contracts team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of projects from handover through to completion, ensuring customers receive an outstanding experience while projects are delivered safely, efficiently and within budget.
The Contracts Department plays a crucial role in our business, coordinating the efforts of multiple teams to deliver projects on time and to the highest standards. If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems and driving projects forward, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from sales handover through to final completion. You'll work closely with customers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure projects are delivered successfully and expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Planning and managing projects from start to finish.
- Acting as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinating activities across Sales, Design, Production, Quality, Finance and Despatch teams.
- Monitoring project progress, budgets, variations and invoicing.
- Ensuring drawing approvals and contractual milestones are achieved on time.
- Arranging export shipments and supporting international projects.
- Managing customer enquiries, concerns and complaints professionally and proactively.
- Producing project performance reports, including budget versus actual spend analysis.
- Supporting overseas Technical Advisors with technical and travel arrangements when required.
- Maintaining accurate project information within company systems.
- Ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental standards are met, including project-specific RAMS.
- Contributing to forecasting and continuous improvement activities within the department.

What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience managing customer-facing projects within a manufacturing, engineering or construction environment.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience monitoring project performance, budgets and schedules.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience working directly with customers in a business-to-business environment.
- Knowledge of export documentation and international shipping requirements.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of project profitability.
- Experience working within engineering or manufacturing sectors.
