Role Description
This full-time Project Manager role is an on-site/remote position located in Heanor. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Daily responsibilities include:

- Coordinating with internal and external engineering, supply chain and logistics teams
- Managing project schedules
- Tracking progress against key milestones
- Liaising with suppliers and customers
- Monitoring procurement and expediting activities
- Organizing inspections to verify compliance with specifications and safety requirements
- Identifying and mitigating project risks
- Preparing status reports
- Supporting continuous improvement of project management processes

Qualifications & Experience
- Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Expeditor and Expediting experience to manage procurement timelines and ensure on-time delivery of materials and equipment.
- Inspection skills to oversee quality checks, technical compliance, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Logistics Management skills to coordinate transportation, inventory, and supply chain activities related to project delivery.
- Background in electrical engineering, or experience in an industrial environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams on-site.
- Proficiency with project management tools and documentation; familiarity with industry standards and HSE practices.
- Firm understanding of EAWR 1989
- Relevant technical qualification in engineering, project management, or a related field; professional certifications in electricity
