Project Manager - Civils | Nuclear Energy

Lead complex civil engineering projects that help power the UK's low-carbon future.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure within the UK's nuclear energy sector. Working on technically challenging projects, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of civil engineering projects from concept through to completion
  • Define and implement project execution strategies aligned with agreed objectives
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement and construction
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with regulatory and company standards
  • Manage project schedules, budgets and risk management activities
  • Monitor performance using modern project controls and reporting tools
  • Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and project teams
  • Prepare project documentation, reports and progress updates
  • Ensure compliance with safety cases, quality standards and CDM regulations
  • Support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across project teams

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Chartered status or working towards chartership preferred
  • APMP or equivalent project management qualification
  • Strong experience delivering projects in highly regulated environments
  • Understanding of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning
  • Knowledge of safety cases, HSE legislation and compliance frameworks
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams
  • Strong commercial awareness including cost control and planning
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability
  • Experience within power generation or nuclear sites beneficial
