We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for the Account Management Team, regarding the processing of artwork projects. This demanding role requires an individual with excellent communication skills, who can multi-task and meet the needs of the studio and client teams.
Overall service requirements span across various brands and areas, and the role requires the individual to ensure the efficient creation, approval, and delivery of artworks while maintaining a responsive service to client requests to a high standard.
This role requires a high level of organisation to ensure that all artworks and project specifications are managed effectively from order intake through to production.
Previous experience in multi-line project management and print file handling is advantageous, ideally with a background in print and packaging within tobacco or FMCG sectors.
Role And Responsibilities
- Attend briefing meetings as required to understand the artwork brief and handover to studio
- Booking in tasks on SGX internal systems (HUBX and SAP) accurately
- Conduct pre-flight checks for every SKU using the Pre-Flight Checklist
- Support Account Manager in coordinating requirements for artwork execution and answering queries raised internally.
- Having briefed the projects to production, effectively manage monitoring different projects according to priorities and ensure all deadlines are adhered to the agreed SLA’s
- Liaise with the client and external parties via calls and email.
- Proactively inform Account Manager if projects have a query that requires client input.
- Control amendments sent by stakeholders and brief back into production in order to meet SLA’s
- Daily check on ongoing projects and tasks, making sure all deadlines are met on time and providing an immediate consultation on any day-to-day challenges.
- Upload finalized ARtE files into Loftware promptly, ensuring on-time delivery to production.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal Production teams and Client Service teams.
- Support on technical and colour management issues, ensuring printability is always maintained
- Keep all administrative duties up-to-date and ensure these are completed on time
- Act as an ambassador for SGX, develop and maintain good client relationships when required and build strong internal relationships
- Be a proactive, responsive strong communicator with a positive and supportive approach as part of the team, and always maintain a professional attitude.
- Raise any issues whether client, production or team related to the Account Director or Team Leader to address issue and resolve accordingly.
- Actively support colleagues during fluctuating workloads and periods of holiday or sickness absence.
- Support the Account Director / Team Leader to ensure that the Forward Loading is completed accurately for ranges within your control on a weekly basis.
- Successfully communicate production issues from the studio and work on solutions effectively with other members of the CSR team
- Work with production and QC teams to ensure accuracy of system data and internal alignment.
- Verify that customer commitments and system entries align — correcting discrepancies or flagging exceptions.

- PC literate – Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat
- Technical knowledge of print or repro (bleeding, trapping, printing specs) beneficial.
- Experience of in Packaging sector, preferably in Tobacco Packaging beneficial.
- Knowledge of design, retail, brand beneficial.
