Project Manager - eDV Cleared essential

📍 Cheltenham (Hybrid) | 💷 £400–£700 per day | Outside IR35 | Contract

Are you an experienced Project Manager or Delivery Manager looking for your next contract opportunity? We're seeking a delivery-focused professional to join a major transformation programme, leading the coordination of projects and workstreams while ensuring successful delivery, governance and seamless transition into live service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams and has a strong focus on operational readiness and delivering measurable outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage project and delivery plans, milestones, schedules and dependencies.
  • Coordinate delivery teams, stakeholders, governance forums and supplier engagement.
  • Maintain RAID logs, action trackers and regular project reporting.
  • Support service transition activities, including readiness assessments, acceptance criteria and operational handover.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with service design, operating models and support arrangements.
  • Monitor and manage risks, issues and dependencies that could impact delivery or service continuity.
  • Coordinate mobilisation, communications, implementation planning and early life support activities.
  • Support transition into live operation and post-implementation stabilisation.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager or similar project delivery role.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, governance, risk management and dependency tracking.
  • Experience delivering projects within complex enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Project Delivery

    • Governance
    • RAID Management
    • Stakeholder Management
    • Risk & Dependency Management
    • Service Transition
    • Service Acceptance
    • Operational Handover
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Previous experience within Public Sector, Government, Defence, or other secure environments is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of SIAM, multi-supplier environments or service integration is advantageous.
