Project Manager
An established engineering and manufacturing organisation supporting highly regulated industries is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the delivery of bespoke customer projects from order receipt through to final completion.
Working closely with engineering, production, purchasing and quality teams, you'll act as the primary customer contact, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed specifications.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously, typically 5-10 at varying stages of delivery
- Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate internal functions including engineering, production, purchasing and quality
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, risk registers and project documentation
- Monitor project finances, milestones and deliverables
- Support project quality activities and ensure compliance with relevant quality standards
- Maintain project information within SAP and provide regular project status updates
- Drive projects through to successful completion while managing customer expectations

Requirements
- Previous experience delivering engineering or manufacturing projects
- Mechanical engineering background preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
- Commercial and financial awareness
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities
- Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
- Understanding of quality systems and ISO standards beneficial
- Pharmaceutical, biotech or life sciences experience would be advantageous but is not essential
