Project Manager – Life Safety & Security Systems

Up to £60,000 + comprehensive benefits
Location: Warrington, with travel across projects throughout the North West

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join the Asset Intelligence division of one of the UK’s largest and most established construction and infrastructure groups.

With an order book exceeding £4.1 billion, the business provides outstanding stability, structured career development and exposure to major Critical National Infrastructure projects across water, defence, energy, transport and telecommunications.

This opportunity could also suit an experienced Site Manager who is ready to take the next step into full project and commercial responsibility.

The Opportunity

The successful Project Manager will oversee the delivery of electronic security, physical security and life-safety system installations across operational water utility sites and other critical environments.

Based from Warrington, you will manage multiple projects across the North West, taking responsibility for safety, programme delivery, client relationships and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from initial setup through to completion and handover
  • Maintain a safe working environment across all sites and projects
  • Ensure company health, safety and sustainability standards are consistently applied
  • Control and monitor progress against agreed project programmes
  • Take responsibility for project financial performance and contract profitability
  • Participate in monthly financial reviews alongside the Commercial Team
  • Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and specialist resources
  • Liaise with design teams to ensure information is received in line with programme requirements
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients, representatives and supply-chain partners
  • Plan and maintain appropriate staffing levels across current and upcoming workloads
  • Ensure installations comply with relevant technical standards and client specifications

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
