Project Manager - Chorley - hybrid

Stakeholder Manager, Prince 2, Software Development Life Cycle, Agile

This highly successful organisation is looking for a Project Manager to join an established software development team with technical understanding of application development and knowledge of the software development life cycle. The successful Project Manager will have good technical understanding in terms of application programming, databases, and systems design as you will be working closely with the in-house development team on client requirements.

The company has a wide client portfolio, and the Project Manager will develop strong relationships with their clients to ensure requirements are understood, solutions are delivered effectively, and that client expectations are managed and satisfied.

The successful Project Manager will manage the day-to-day routine in terms of project and scope, review deliverables prepared by the team, apply project management methodology, and prepare for engagement reviews and QA procedures. This role will suit a Project Manager with an application development background looking to take the next step in their career. You will join an experienced and friendly team of Project Managers who will support your training and career growth.

You Will Need

  • Experience working in a heavy client-facing environment
  • Experience of projects within the software delivery lifecycle
  • Ideally experience with Prince 2, Agile, and Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Experience of running and owning project budgets up to £200k
