Role Overview
This role sits within Finance as part of the Virgin Money Finance Integration Programme, a major transformation supporting the integration of Virgin Money into Nationwide. Working across Finance, Product, and delivery teams, the programme ensures systems, data, and processes are integrated safely and under strong governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Finance process change, ensuring readiness for new and migrated product capabilities.
- Embed robust accounting, reconciliation, reporting, and treasury processes.
- Manage dependencies and maintain effective control of risks and decisions.
- Play a key part in protecting financial integrity, meeting regulatory requirements and enabling a smooth, well-governed transition that supports long-term value and confidence for Nationwide’s members.

- This is a 24-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity.
- At Nationwide, we offer hybrid working wherever possible, supporting more rewarding relationships across our UK-wide estate and generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, learn, and feel connected.
- For this job, you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time, you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Swindon, London, or Glasgow office.
- If you’re based at our Glasgow office, this will apply from 1 April 2027, and before that, there will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works.
