Job Description: Project Manager – Maywins Ltd

Maywins Ltd is a fit-out and refurbishment contractor based in Hertfordshire. We specialise in delivering projects across hospitals, schools and local authority environments throughout London and the South East.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple construction and refurbishment projects from initial pricing through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, internal teams, subcontractors, employed labour, health and safety, project costs and overall delivery.

This role requires a proactive and organised individual who can ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality and contractual standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage fit-out and refurbishment projects from initial pricing through to completion and handover.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
• Plan and coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers and employed labour.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Manage projects from the initial brief through to completion, sign-off and snagging.
• Prepare, review and communicate relevant health and safety documentation.
• Monitor project risks and implement appropriate contingency measures.
• Maintain clear and regular communication with clients throughout each project.
• Carry out site inspections to monitor quality, progress and health and safety compliance.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously across different locations.
• Monitor project costs and support accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain complete and accurate project records, including photographs and completion documentation.
• Provide regular updates to the internal team regarding the status of all active works.
• Ensure works comply with contractual requirements, company procedures and relevant legislation.
