Project Manager – Water & Wastewater - Contract

Civil or Mechanical background? Ready to take the lead?

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a rapidly growing engineering business delivering major water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Ireland and the UK.

Whether your background is Civil or Mechanical Engineering, this is an opportunity to lead multidisciplinary projects from design through construction, commissioning, and handover.

The role:

  • Lead multidisciplinary Civil, Mechanical & MEICA teams.
  • Deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Manage programme, commercial performance, procurement, risk, and cashflow.
  • Drive a strong Health, Safety, Quality & Sustainability culture.
  • Build effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Lead project teams, mentor staff, and support their development.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years’ Project Management experience, ideally within water/wastewater, utilities, or construction.
  • Civil or Mechanical Engineering background — either will be considered.
  • Experience delivering engineering/construction projects, ideally involving Civil, Mechanical, or MEICA packages.
  • Level 8 Honours Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Strong commercial, programme management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Full driving licence.
