London | £60,000–£80,000 + bonus
There comes a point in a Project Manager’s career where being involved in a project isn’t quite enough.
You want to own it.
The programme, the client relationship, the site team, the commercial decisions, the difficult conversations when something starts to move off track, and ultimately the handover at the end.
GRØ is working confidentially with an established London business operating across workplace fit-out, commercial interiors and refurbishment, with two Project Manager opportunities available as they continue to strengthen their delivery teams.
These are hands-on roles for PM's who want genuine responsibility across the full life of a project.
You’ll be involved from pre-construction and mobilisation through to live delivery, handover and close-out.
That means taking ownership of things such as:
- Construction programmes
- Site set-up and mobilisation
- Long-lead procurement
- Weekly site and subcontractor meetings
- Coordination across design, technical, commercial and construction teams
- Variations and change control
- Valuations and project finances
- Client, landlord and stakeholder management
- Practical completion, defects and close-out
In simple terms, they are looking for someone who knows what is happening across their project, understands where the risks are, and is comfortable taking responsibility when decisions need to be made.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The projects vary.
Some are highly detailed, client-sensitive schemes where quality, finish and stakeholder management are critical.
Others move quickly, with tight programmes, multiple workstreams and a need for clear, decisive project leadership.
In both cases, you’ll be working closely with the wider delivery team rather than managing the project from a distance.
It’s a good environment for someone who enjoys being close to the detail, visible with clients and genuinely involved in how a project is delivered.
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll ideally already have experience across one or more of:
- Workplace fit-out
- Commercial interiors
- Design & Build
- CAT A / CAT B
- Commercial refurbishment
Your title could be Project Manager or Senior Project Manager. The title matters less than the level of responsibility you currently carry.
We’re particularly interested in people who can demonstrate that they have personally led projects, rather than simply supported them.
You should be comfortable with live sites, subcontractors, programmes, procurement and commercial conversations, alongside the client-facing side of the role.

Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
A working knowledge of JCT contracts would also be useful.
Most importantly, you’ll be someone who stays calm when projects become pressured, communicates clearly and is comfortable making decisions.
Why This Is Worth Exploring
There is a good level of autonomy attached to these positions, alongside direct exposure to senior leadership and a genuinely multidisciplinary project environment.
For someone coming from a larger or more layered business, it offers the chance to move closer to the decision-making and take broader ownership.
For someone already working in a smaller D&B environment, it provides a larger platform, stronger project pipeline and clearer scope for progression.
