Built isn’t waiting for the future. We’re building it.
This is where you lead fitout projects that make a visible impact. At Built, you'll take ownership of complex fitout and refurbishment projects from planning through to completion, backed by a collaborative project team, senior leaders, and the systems and processes of a £1.5bn business.
The Opportunity
As Project Manager, you'll lead the delivery of some of London's most exciting fitout projects, taking ownership from pre-construction through to handover. You'll work closely with clients, consultants and project teams to create exceptional spaces while driving programme, commercial and quality outcomes.
- Take day-to-day ownership of fitout projects, coordinating site and off-site activities to deliver safely, within budget, on programme and to the required quality.
- Lead project teams across engineering, commercial, site management and project administration, creating clear priorities, strong communication and efficient resource allocation.
- Use Built's systems, processes and governance to manage project planning, procurement, cost reporting, variations and subcontract administration, keeping commercial performance, risk and programme outcomes on track.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities, to keep projects moving and outcomes aligned.
- Champion HSE, quality and compliance by maintaining practical systems, managing risk, and supporting a positive, high-performing project environment.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a practical, commercially minded Project Manager who can lead with clarity, build trust quickly and bring people together to deliver. You will be confident owning client relationships, making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment and keeping project teams focused on what matters most: safety, and quality. You will bring the judgement to turn complexity into clear plans, while staying close to the detail needed to deliver exceptional spaces.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
