Hours of work: 37 Hours Per Week – Hybrid Working Available – Please note the role will require you to be mainly site based.
The Role:
We are looking for an energetic construction/demolition Project Manager with a strong delivery background, preferably contractor side, who are comfortable operating in a structured and highly regulated project environment.
Main Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects from planning to close-out, ensuring timely and compliant delivery.
- Manage projects under NEC4 ECC, including Early Warnings, Compensation Events, instructions, programme controls, and change management.
- Use CEMAR or similar systems to track contractual processes.
- Project Controls & Programme Management Integrate cost, risk, programme, and reporting for seamless project oversight.
- Identify critical activities, dependencies, and constraints to drive delivery.
- Stakeholder & Client Management Act as the primary liaison for clients, supply chain, designers, and consultants.
- Ensure collaborative yet commercially disciplined working relationships.
- Leadership & Compliance provide strong leadership and problem-solving to resolve issues proactively. Ensure compliance with nuclear, defence, or highly regulated environments.

Experience/Qualifications:
- Candidates will ideally hold a minimum of HNC in relevant Construction/Engineering discipline.
- Candidates MUST have Strong enabling / infrastructure project delivery experience.
- Demonstrable experience of managing projects under NEC 4 ECC.
- Strong project controls experience and an understanding of how programme, cost, risk, change, and reporting need to operate together.
- Experience of managing projects from pre-construction and planning through mobilisation, construction, completion, and close-out.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong communication, reporting, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within nuclear, defence or another secure / highly regulated environment would be particularly attractive.
- Experience of CEMAR or similar NEC contract management systems would be desirable
