Job Description

Project Manager

Location: Wetherby (with site visits)
Company: GSS Management Services Ltd

Experience:

  • At least 2 years experience required in Hoarding/Fencing for construction sites.

The Role

GSS Management Services is looking to recruit a Project Manager (Commercial) to support the delivery of our hoarding and fencing division within the construction sector. This is a hands-on, varied role focused on coordinating projects, supporting site teams, and ensuring work is delivered efficiently from enquiry through to completion. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to help organise works, understand site requirements, and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project & Operations Coordination
    • Coordinate the delivery of hoarding and fencing projects across multiple sites
    • Order materials, plant, and equipment in line with project requirements
    • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery
    • Assist with scheduling and logistics to meet site deadlines

  • Project Support & Site Liaison

    • Speak with site teams to understand requirements and scope of works
    • Attend site visits and carry out surveys where required
    • Assist in preparing quotations based on site information and specifications
    • Ensure all project details are accurately captured and communicated
  • Client & Site Engagement

    • Build strong working relationships with site teams and clients
    • Act as a point of contact during project delivery
    • Support a smooth transition from enquiry through to installation

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Organised and able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Comfortable communicating with site managers and construction teams
  • Willing to attend site visits and work in a practical environment
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to gather and relay accurate information
  • Proactive and able to take ownership of tasks

  • Background in project coordination, contracts, or operations
  • Experience working with suppliers or supporting quotations
  • Full UK driving licence

Additional Information

This role is office based in Wetherby however, it will involve regular site visits, so flexibility and willingness to travel locally is required.
