About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Aerospace & Defense team, leading technical customer projects across an international environment.

You will take ownership of projects from kick-off through to completion. Acting as the primary customer contact, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

This is a highly visible role that combines technical understanding, commercial awareness and stakeholder management. You will work closely with customers, internal teams and external partners to deliver successful outcomes and drive long-term business growth.

  • Lead and support bids for customer projects, including oversight of commercial, technical, and contract-related activities
  • Support, develop and implement strategic initiatives around Customer Solution Engineering / Systems Engineering across EMEA to support business objectives and drive growth
  • Manage customer engagements, including audits, assessments, and the resolution of non-conformities, ensuring compliance and strengthening long-term customer relationships
  • Chair project board meetings, including escalation and risk management, to ensure achievement of customer project objectives
  • Maintain regular and proactive communication with customers, ensuring close cooperation and timely issue resolution
  • Coordinate and align internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful and efficient project execution
  • Provide comprehensive project management across the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and governance frameworks, including Delegation of Authority (DOA)

Your profile

Essential

  • Technical degree from a university or university of applied sciences (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or comparable)
  • Proven experience in project and/or program management in an industrial or technical environment (ideally in defense and/or space projects).
  • Strong experience in customer-facing roles, including stakeholder management and customer communication
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Based in the UK
  • Willingness to travel within the EMEA region
  • Structured working style with the ability to manage complexity and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Solid understanding of commercial aspects and business administration
  • Very good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Professional experience in Aerospace & Defense programs/projects
  • Technical knowledge in the network communication area
  • Experience with industrial systems and complex technical projects
  • IPMA Level C (or higher) or comparable project management certification
