Project Manager

Do you have the project management expertise to deliver critical support programmes that help keep naval capability operational around the world?

We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Services Division at TKMS ATLAS UK, overseeing a portfolio of In-Service Support and Contractor Logistic Support projects. Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you will work within a collaborative and highly capable team responsible for supporting complex maritime systems throughout their operational life.

Our Services Division plays a vital role in ensuring our customers receive reliable, responsive and effective support solutions. This role is central to our strategy of delivering exceptional customer service while continuing to grow our long-term support capability across UK and international programmes.

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects, balancing customer expectations, commercial objectives and operational delivery. Working closely with Programme Leads, Operations teams and Waterfront teams, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed performance targets.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of multiple In-Service Support and CLS projects.
  • Monitoring project performance against cost, schedule and quality objectives.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities for future growth.
  • Creating, maintaining and executing project Risk Management Plans.
  • Ensuring effective management of risks, opportunities, security requirements, trade controls, quality and configuration management activities.
  • Producing regular project reporting and escalating issues appropriately to senior management.
  • Coordinating project stakeholders and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the Services Division.
  • Undertaking occasional travel within the UK and internationally when required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
