Project Manager (Animal Health) - Remote

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager (Animal Health) based in United Kingdom.

This is a remote project management opportunity supporting integration and commercial technology initiatives within the animal health sector. The role focuses on translating business objectives and operational challenges into clear, actionable requirements that enable successful technology delivery. You will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Solution Architects, developers, integration teams, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle. A key part of the position involves analyzing current and future-state processes to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and improvement. You will also contribute to prioritization, testing, release planning, and business readiness. The role offers broad exposure to technology transformation while requiring strong stakeholder coordination, documentation, and delivery discipline.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead business requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and prioritization for integration and commercial technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, challenges, and opportunities, translating business needs into actionable requirements.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements review meetings to gather, clarify, and refine business needs.
  • Create and maintain functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business specifications.
  • Analyze current-state and future-state business processes, identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardization.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between business teams, Product Owners, Solution Architects, developers, integration teams, and external vendors.
  • Support demand intake, business impact assessments, backlog refinement, prioritization, release planning, and solution evaluation.
  • Assist with testing and user acceptance activities, ensuring requirements traceability, solution validation, and business readiness throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality project documentation, including business requirements, process maps, workflow diagrams, traceability matrices, UAT materials, and knowledge transfer documentation.
  • Support successful solution delivery and transition to internal teams through clear documentation, stakeholder alignment, and effective knowledge transfer.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, business analysis, requirements management, or technology delivery within complex business environments.
  • Strong ability to elicit, analyze, document, validate, and prioritize business and technology requirements.
  • Experience translating business objectives and operational challenges into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
  • Experience facilitating interviews, workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements review meetings.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and operational improvement.
  • Experience working with Product Owners, Solution Architects, developers, integration teams, and external technology vendors.
  • Strong understanding of backlog management, prioritization, release planning, testing, UAT, and business readiness.
  • Excellent documentation skills, including experience creating process maps, workflow diagrams, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices.
  • Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliverables while maintaining attention to detail in a remote working environment.
  • Experience in the animal health, healthcare, life sciences, or related sectors is beneficial.
