This is a great opportunity to start a career in project management. You will support Project Managers with the planning, administration and delivery, gaining valuable hands-on experience within Network Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Working alongside the Project Management team, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the day-to-day management and coordination of projects
• Supporting Project Managers with project planning, organisation and administration
• Assisting with procurement of materials, equipment and subcontractor services
• Obtaining and reviewing quotations and assisting with purchase orders
• Liaising with employees, suppliers, subcontractors, clients and other project stakeholders
• Assisting with the preparation and management of pre-installation documentation
• Helping to ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate and submitted on time
• Supporting the team with Health and Safety documentation and requirements
• Assisting with RAMS, permits, site documentation and other project-specific requirements
• Maintaining accurate project records and updating project management systems
• Assisting with project programmes, schedules and delivery deadlines
• Monitoring project progress and highlighting potential issues or delays to the Project Manager
• Attending site surveys, project meetings and inspections as your experience develops
• Developing an understanding of project costs, budgets and commercial considerations
• Assisting with the preparation and submission of completion documentation and handover packs
• Ensuring all relevant project documentation is properly collated and submitted upon completion
• Communicating professionally with people at all levels across the business and wider industry
• Undertaking general project administration and other duties as required

Training:

• Ensure that integrated schedules support critical path analysis, interface management, resource forecasting and risk management.
• Apply relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and ethical guidance where appropriate to their work.
• Use data to inform decisions on actions to take to mitigate risks on project.
• Use configuration management and change control to schedule and maintain projects.
• Manages resources through the project lifecycle.
