Client Deployment Role Description
Albany Beck is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of AI-powered automation use cases across a federated Project and Programme Management community.
Working in partnership with internal technology teams, Microsoft and specialist third-party AI providers, the Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of automation initiatives designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of project management processes.
The role requires strong project delivery, process engineering and stakeholder-management experience. Deep technical AI expertise is not essential, but candidates should have experience delivering automation, process improvement or technology-enabled change within a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI and automation use cases across the Project and Programme Management community.
- Engage with project managers, PMOs, business teams and technology stakeholders to identify and agree common requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional, technical and data requirements for solution development.
- Develop and manage project scope, delivery plans, work breakdown structures, milestones and implementation activities.
- Manage project governance, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies and reporting throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Coordinate delivery across internal IT teams, Microsoft and specialist third-party development partners.
- Lead agile delivery ceremonies and support effective collaboration between business and technical teams.
- Oversee solution development, testing, implementation, operational readiness and benefits realisation.
- Ensure automation initiatives deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, delivery effectiveness and reduced manual effort.
- Maintain appropriate project artefacts, including plans, RAID logs, status reports, lessons learned and project health assessments.
- Identify delivery gaps, implementation risks and process weaknesses, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
- Communicate progress, risks, decisions and dependencies clearly to senior stakeholders and delivery teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
