Programme/Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Programme/Project Manager to lead cross-functional control initiatives from intake to closure. In this role, you will manage end-to-end delivery, drive governance and risk hygiene, support operational BAU functions, and serve as an extension of the Leadership Team.
Rate: 400 a day subco
Key Responsibilities
- Initiative Delivery & Governance: Drive end-to-end cross-control initiatives. Define scope, execution roadmaps, and delivery plans while maintaining RAID logs, action trackers, and governance hygiene.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate deliverables and dependencies across Controls, Risk, Audit, Operations, and Technology teams. Proactively escalate blockers with facts and mitigation options.
- BAU & Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation, capacity planning, budget tracking, forecasting, and the submission of reporting packs and metrics.
- Stakeholder Management: Align risk, audit, and tech partners. Resolve daily friction, drive consensus, and deliver clear executive communications.
- Leadership Support & Bench Strength: Serve as an extension of the Leadership Team when required. Coach and develop junior team members, build cross-coverage, and continuously improve ways of working.

- Experience: Proven track record in Project/Programme Management within regulated, risk-focused, or control-heavy environments.
- Governance & Delivery: Hands-on experience with complex cross-functional delivery, RAID management, capacity planning, and budget forecasting.
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience producing decision-ready executive packs and driving governance forums.
- Process Improvement: Ability to refine operating models, streamline frameworks, and mentor team members while executing against milestones.
