Slingsby Advanced Composites designs, tests, and manufactures advanced composite solutions for the aerospace and defense sectors. The company delivers full turnkey solutions, design for manufacture services, and build-to-print capabilities, giving clients flexibility across project types. With a focus on optimal material selection and advanced processes, Slingsby supports projects ranging from small components to very large structures. Role Description
The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kirkbymoorside. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering composite projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Day-to-day tasks include:

Qualifications
- Strong project delivery skills, including Project Management experience and the ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget.
- Experience with Expeditor responsibilities and Expediting processes to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and components.
- Knowledge of Inspection practices and quality assurance within manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Logistics Management skills to coordinate materials flow, shipping, and inventory in support of project timelines.
- Relevant experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced composites manufacturing is highly beneficial.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk management.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, project management, or a related field preferred.
