I’m currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with an established bespoke design, production and fit-out business based in Essex. They are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of multiple projects from initial handover through manufacture, installation and final completion.
The Role

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, bespoke environment where no two projects are necessarily the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple live projects from handover through to completion.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Attend client surveys, site meetings and installations across the UK.
- Coordinate workshop production and onsite installation teams.
- Produce and maintain RAMS and relevant project documentation.
- Manage project budgets, programmes, costs and variations.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues.
- Work closely with design, production and installation teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Maintain high standards of quality, health & safety and client satisfaction.
- Ensure projects are delivered commercially and operationally to agreed deadlines.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
