Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for the safe, commercially successful and timely delivery of attraction projects from contract award through to final client handover. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager will have the responsibility and accountability for the successful delivery of assigned projects. The role will coordinate and lead multidisciplinary project delivery teams, suppliers, subcontractors and customer stakeholders to deliver complex attraction projects across UK and international markets.
The Project Manager will have responsibility for managing project scope, programme, cost, risk, quality, change, commercial performance and customer satisfaction, ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations, company processes and applicable standards. The role will operate across the full project lifecycle, from design and procurement through manufacture, factory testing, installation, commissioning, customer acceptance and handover, ensuring compliance with Simworx processes, contractual obligations and relevant industry standards.

Key Accountabilities
The Project Manager will be accountable for:
- Providing effective project-level support and reporting to the Senior Project Manager and Project Director to support successful delivery of the wider project portfolio.
- Safe and effective delivery of assigned projects.
- Delivery of projects against agreed scope, programme and budget.
- Effective management of project risks, issues, dependencies and changes.
- Monitoring and improving project commercial performance and profitability.
- Effective management of customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Coordination of multidisciplinary internal teams and external partners.
- Ensuring project governance, reporting and documentation requirements are met.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Governance
- Lead the delivery of assigned projects from contract award through to final handover.
- Develop and maintain detailed project execution plans, programmes and delivery strategies.
- Establish clear project objectives, milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party suppliers to support successful project execution.
- Monitor project progress and performance using appropriate project management systems, tools and techniques.
- Provide regular project reporting to the Senior Project Manager and wider management team.
- Escalate significant risks, issues, delays and commercial matters in a timely manner.
- Ensure project governance and company processes are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive project records and documentation.
Commercial & Financial Management
- Manage project budgets, forecasts and expenditure.
- Monitor project profitability, margin and overall commercial performance.
- Control cost growth and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
- Monitor and manage project cash flow, milestone invoicing and customer payment schedules.
- Support commercial negotiations with customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Identify and manage project variations, change orders and additional revenue opportunities.
- Ensure customer requests are assessed for their cost, programme, risk and technical impact before implementation.
- Ensure agreed changes are managed through formal change-control processes.
- Review contractual obligations and ensure project delivery remains aligned with contractual requirements.
- Provide accurate and timely financial forecasting and identify emerging commercial risks and opportunities.

Engineering & Technical Delivery
- Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Controls and AV disciplines throughout project delivery.
- Ensure project scope and technical requirements are clearly understood by all relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate design activities and ensure appropriate design reviews are completed at key project milestones.
- Monitor design maturity and ensure appropriate technical information is available before manufacture and procurement release.
- Drive structured resolution of technical issues through effective action management.
- Ensure technical dependencies and interfaces are identified and managed.
- Support the identification and management of technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Procurement, Manufacturing & Supply Chain
- Coordinate procurement and manufacturing activities against the agreed project programme.
- Identify long-lead items and ensure associated risks are actively managed.
- Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to manage quality, cost and delivery performance.
- Monitor supplier progress and escalate potential impacts to project delivery.
- Ensure production readiness reviews are completed before manufacture commences.
- Maintain effective communication between engineering, procurement, manufacturing and project delivery teams.
