Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to make a real impact within a growing aerospace and defence manufacturing environment?
We are seeking a driven and technically capable Project Manager to join our Alcester-based team, leading key operational improvement projects that directly influence business performance, quality, efficiency, and future growth.
This is an excellent opportunity to work at the heart of a highly regulated manufacturing environment, delivering projects ranging from equipment upgrades and new machinery installations through to continuous improvement initiatives, cost reduction programmes, and operational excellence projects.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of business-critical projects from concept through to successful delivery. Working closely with operational, engineering, quality, and senior leadership teams, you will define project scope, establish clear objectives and KPIs, manage risks, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
You will be the focal point for each project, coordinating stakeholders, overcoming obstacles, maintaining momentum, and implementing effective project governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver operational improvement and capital investment projects across the facility.
- Manage equipment upgrades, new equipment installations, commissioning activities, and manufacturing improvement initiatives.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and success criteria.
- Develop and manage project plans, execution strategies, and critical path activities.
- Conduct ongoing risk assessments and implement effective mitigation plans.
- Ensure appropriate project governance and stakeholder engagement throughout delivery.
- Coordinate internal teams, suppliers, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates through operational and management meetings.
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Ensure all activities comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
About You
We are looking for a resilient and proactive Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can successfully navigate complex technical and operational challenges.
You will be a strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels while maintaining focus on project objectives and business priorities.

- Proven experience delivering projects within a manufacturing, aerospace, defence, engineering, or highly regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practice.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to identify risks, resolve problems, and drive projects to completion.
- Strong technical awareness across manufacturing processes.
- Experience managing contractors and external suppliers.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using Microsoft Project would be advantageous.
Qualifications
Essential
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
- Demonstrable project management experience.
- Strong problem-solving and project delivery skills.
Desirable
- APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management qualification.
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, or a related discipline.
