Project Manager – Real Estate Development

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to take ownership of high-profile residential developments from acquisition through to completion?

We're partnering with an ambitious and growing real estate investment and development business that is transforming the residential and hospitality sectors through sustainable, high-quality developments. With a strong focus on innovation, energy-efficient design and smart building technology, the business is delivering projects across London, the UK and Europe, offering an exciting opportunity to join at a key stage of its growth.

The Role

As Project Manager, you'll oversee the full development lifecycle, working closely with architects, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage residential and mixed-use developments from planning through to completion.
  • Coordinate architects, consultants, contractors and local authorities throughout each project.
  • Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and cost plans.
  • Review planning applications, technical drawings and contract documentation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Chair project meetings and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Support construction teams in resolving on-site issues and maintaining programme delivery.
  • Ensure projects comply with UK planning regulations, building regulations and quality standards.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project management within property development or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning processes, procurement and building regulations.
  • Experience managing project budgets, programmes and consultant teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
  • Degree qualified in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of CAD, BIM or project management software is advantageous.
  • RICS or another relevant professional accreditation would be beneficial.
