The role
Orbit are delighted to be recruiting for 2 Project Managers to join us on a fixed term basis, until October 2027.
As a Project Manager, you will be coming into a fast-paced environment to play a key role in delivering a strategic property programme that will drive operational excellence, improve customer outcomes, and modernise our services. The successful individuals will have demonstrable experience delivering projects encompassing business change, operational excellence and IT.
Working across business and technology teams, you will lead the planning and delivery of complex projects, ensuring that changes to systems, processes, and ways of working are successfully embedded across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to influence significant transformation activity, working with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver sustainable business benefits and maximise the value of our investment in property and digital services.
This role is part of Technology & Information where you'll help us give colleagues the infrastructure, support and insight they need to be brilliant.

Given this is a projects role, you will need to be fully flexible to work in an agile format, which will include travel to the Warwickshire offices (Coventry & Stratford upon Avon) inline with business need. This can fluctuate week on week.
What you'll achieve
- To ensure that technology purchases meets business needs, represents value for money and contracts\suppliers are well managed
- Facilitating the definition of project scope, goals, deliverables and benefits
- To proactively and collaboratively work with key stakeholders to develop business requirements, translating these into functional specifications and detailed test plans
- Defining project tasks, resource requirements & development of project plans\timelines
- Assemble and co-ordinate project staff & manage project resource & planning allocation
- Planning and scheduling project timelines
- Manage virtual project team
- Work with the technical architect to ensure the technical elements of the project are assessed, planned and delivered to time and budget
What you'll bring
Essential skills
- Project management qualification or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management & business analysis
- Proven experience of managing complex data migration, integration and desktop projects and programmes
- Proven experience in managing medium to large projects/programmes
- Proven experience of working within an organisations technical change management processes and presenting to relevant governance forums e.g. Change Advisory Board (CAB)
