Role Description
The Project Manager – Civil Engineering will lead and coordinate civil engineering projects from inception to handover, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget. This full-time, on-site role based in Sheffield involves planning project phases, defining milestones, and managing resources, contractors, and suppliers. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role also includes:
- Organizing inspections
- Coordinating logistics and expediting of materials and equipment
- Preparing reports
- Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
The Project Manager will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, resolve issues that arise on site, and drive continuous improvement in project execution and delivery.
Qualifications
- Civil Engineering project management skills, including Project Management and experience leading multi-phase construction or infrastructure projects.
- Expediting and Expeditor capabilities to track, prioritize, and accelerate the delivery of materials, equipment, and documentation.
- Inspection experience to oversee site work, verify compliance with specifications and standards, and support quality assurance processes.
- Logistics Management skills to plan, coordinate, and optimize the movement and storage of materials and resources across project sites.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to civil engineering works.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office; familiarity with construction scheduling software is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and contract documentation; relevant professional certifications are beneficial.
