Description
At Ignite Systems, we help insurers and brokers transform the way they operate through innovative technology, data, and digital solutions. As our client portfolio continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of client projects while acting as a trusted partner throughout the implementation journey.
This is a highly collaborative and client-facing role that combines project management, delivery leadership, business analysis, and stakeholder management. You'll work closely with customers, internal product teams, and technical specialists to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with tangible business value.

Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing
As a Project Manager, you'll take ownership of client delivery engagements from initiation through to successful implementation and adoption.
You Will
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, overseeing scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and project governance
- Work directly with clients to understand business objectives, requirements, and desired outcomes
- Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and translate business needs into clear deliverables and user stories
- Manage project plans, delivery milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Quality, and client stakeholders
- Drive project progress, proactively resolving blockers and ensuring delivery remains on track
- Own project reporting, providing clear visibility of status, risks, issues, and key decisions
- Support solution validation, testing activities, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release readiness
- Ensure successful deployment and transition into business-as-usual operations
- Build strong relationships with customers and act as a trusted advisor throughout the delivery lifecycle

Qualifications
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a delivery-focused professional who can balance client engagement, project leadership, and business analysis responsibilities.
You'll Ideally Bring
- Experience managing software, technology, SaaS, or digital transformation projects
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, and defining business solutions
- A structured approach to project planning, governance, and delivery management
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and competing deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and commercial awareness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with both business and technical audiences
- Experience operating within Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery environments

Desirable Experience
While not essential, experience in any of the following areas would be highly advantageous:
- Insurance, Insurtech, broking, underwriting, or financial services experience
- Software implementation, platform deployment, or systems integration projects
- Product ownership, backlog management, or business analysis responsibilities
- Agile delivery methodologies and sprint planning
- Azure DevOps, Linear, Monday.com, or similar project and workflow management tools
- User acceptance testing (UAT), release management, and quality assurance processes
- Data migration, reporting, analytics, or process improvement initiatives
- The use of AI to facilitate project reporting, reduce delivery overhead, or implementation time
