About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a growing organisation operating within the healthcare and wellbeing sector.
This role will lead the end-to-end onboarding and transition of new client programmes, ensuring a seamless implementation experience for both clients and internal stakeholders. Acting as the central point of coordination, you will manage complex implementation projects from contract award through to operational delivery, working across multiple business functions to drive successful outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised, client-focused project professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and leading cross-functional teams through periods of change and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Governance
- Lead the planning, execution and delivery of client onboarding and transition programmes.
- Develop and maintain implementation plans, project schedules, risk registers and governance frameworks.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, milestones and deliverables.
- Facilitate project steering groups, governance meetings and stakeholder reviews.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the highest quality standards.

Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary project lead throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Coordinate communication between clients, incumbent providers and internal teams.
- Identify, escalate and resolve project issues and risks proactively.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Coordinate activities across key business functions including:
- Operations
- Technology & Systems
- Compliance & Regulatory
- Legal
- Client Services
- Commercial & Sales
- Marketing & Communications
- Ensure workstreams remain aligned and dependencies are effectively managed.
Transition & Change Management
- Develop onboarding and transition strategies that support successful service mobilisation.
- Drive operational readiness planning and implementation.
- Support communication, training and change management activities.
- Ensure smooth handover of services into business-as-usual operations.
Risk & Compliance
- Manage project risks and mitigation plans.
- Ensure regulatory, contractual and governance requirements are met.
- Maintain high standards of project controls, reporting and quality assurance.

About You
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of leading complex onboarding, implementation or transition programmes.
Essential Experience
- 8+ years' project management experience.
- Demonstrable success delivering client onboarding, implementation, mobilisation or transition projects.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including engagement with senior leaders and external clients.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams and cross-functional project teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
- Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
- Experience working within healthcare, health insurance, employee benefits, medical assistance, wellbeing services or another regulated environment.
Desirable Experience
- PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or Agile certification.
- Experience within healthcare operations, occupational health, medical assistance or private health insurance.
- Experience leading supplier transitions or service migrations.
- Change management qualifications or experience.
- Experience onboarding large corporate clients or complex service contracts.
