About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex projects, ensuring agreed business outcomes are achieved within defined scope, budget, timescales, and quality standards.
You will take full responsibility for the definition, planning, governance, execution, and successful completion of projects that may have significant business impact, high-profile stakeholder engagement, and complex dependencies. The role requires a proven ability to apply both traditional and Agile delivery approaches while maintaining robust project controls, governance, risk management, change management, and financial oversight.

You will manage project teams, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring effective delivery while supporting Atos' commercial objectives and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Lead medium-sized, multi-disciplinary project teams across multiple locations and supplier organizations.
- Create an inclusive and collaborative environment that encourages team engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Coach and support team members to develop their skills and maximize performance.
- Review project delivery approaches and recommend improvements based on lessons learned, industry trends, and Atos best practices.
- Influence stakeholders and secure agreement for delivery improvements and project changes where required.
Project Organisation & Governance
- Plan, manage, and control projects with internal and external dependencies.
- Manage project scope, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and baseline plans.
- Monitor budgets, costs, revenue, margins, and project financial performance.
- Manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies while implementing appropriate mitigation actions.
- Ensure successful handover and acceptance of project deliverables, including service acceptance activities.
Delivery Management
- Confirm project requirements and scope with stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with agreed delivery methodologies, standards, and governance controls.
- Maintain effective configuration and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project effectiveness and customer outcomes.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively seek customer feedback.
- Facilitate discussions, negotiate outcomes, and resolve conflicts where required.
- Communicate complex information effectively to a range of audiences, including senior stakeholders and project teams.
- Lead presentations, reviews, and governance forums with confidence and credibility.
Commercial & Financial Management
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, financial performance, and profitability.
- Identify and address delivery, commercial, contractual, and operational risks.
- Manage end-to-end change control processes, including impact assessments covering cost, margin, schedule, quality, risk, and resource implications.
- Work closely with Account Managers to maintain strong customer relationships while supporting Atos' commercial interests.
- Support the delivery of projects involving diverse technologies, suppliers, and commercial arrangements.

Skills We Can't Do Without
- Proven experience delivering medium-sized projects with values typically ranging between £2M and £5M.
- Strong project planning, governance, risk management, issue management, and change control experience.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Strong commercial and financial management capability.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Skills We'd Like
- Experience delivering technology transformation and cloud migration programmes.
- Previous experience delivering AWS migration projects.
- Knowledge of both predictive and Agile project delivery methodologies.
- Experience working within complex multi-supplier delivery environments.
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain SC Clearance.
- Must be fully mobile in terms of assignment location.
- Travel and on-site attendance may be required depending on project and customer requirements.
