Project Manager – Drone & Wind Operations
United Kingdom | Remote with UK & European Travel
£40,000 per year | Full-Time | 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off
WindWorkX is hiring an experienced Project Manager to support a fast-growing program of drone inspection operations across the UK and Europe.
This role runs on a 2 weeks on / 2 Weeks Off rotation. During working periods, you will manage live projects, coordinate technicians, equipment, travel, logistics and customer requirements across multiple wind farm locations. The rotation is fast-paced, but your off-periods are fully protected. Occasional flexibility may be required for training or exceptional operational needs.
Role Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate drone inspection projects
- Schedule technicians, equipment and resources
- Manage UK and European travel and logistics
- Support mobilisation to onshore/offshore wind farms
- Monitor live project delivery and resolve issues
- Maintain project schedules and management systems
- Produce daily reports and project documentation
- Communicate with customers, technicians and internal teams
- Manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Support other Project Managers when required

What We’re Looking For
Experience in:
- Project management, operations or logistics
- Wind energy, renewable energy or field service work
- Drone or aviation operations
- Offshore or marine logistics
- Managing technicians or mobile teams
- International project delivery
You should be organised, adaptable and confident making decisions in a fast-moving operational environment. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential. Experience with project management systems, Microsoft Office, Teams, Google Workspace or Salesforce is beneficial.

Languages
- Fluent English required.
- German or Spanish highly advantageous.
- Other European languages welcome.
Additional Advantages
- Experience with drone operations, aviation regulations, wind turbine inspections, offshore wind, marine logistics, health & safety, IOSH Managing Safely, or working with international customers.
