Project Manager / Contract Manager – Middlesbrough
Project:
Major Construction Project
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager / Contract Manager to join a major construction project in the Middlesbrough area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of the project, working closely with the client, contractors, subcontractors and wider project team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day delivery of the project
- Coordinating contractors, subcontractors and site teams
- Monitoring programme, progress and project performance
- Managing contractual and commercial requirements
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required standards
- Liaising with the client and wider project stakeholders
- Managing project documentation, reporting and project records
- Identifying and managing project risks and issues

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Project Manager or Contract Manager position within the construction sector
- Strong construction project delivery experience
- Experience within industrial, civils, infrastructure or similar construction environments
- Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts and project management
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively with clients, contractors and site teams
- Right to work in the UK
