What's happening?
Weber Shandwick is looking for a talented Project Manager with strong organisation skills who wants to be part of the Corporate Enterprise practice in our London office.

The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate The Following Key Attributes
CLIENT AND WORK
- Demonstrate excellence in understanding the full project lifecycle (brief to delivery), manage project deliverables across medium size campaigns and help coordinate various functions including creative, strategy, insights, paid media, and analytics
- Coordinate with creative, strategy, account management and other internal teams to help drive best-in-class solutions for medium integrated projects/campaigns
- Accountable for managing and communicating the project-level SOW and staff plan to the day-to-day team and manager. Responsible for escalating potential scope creep / delay
- Set expectations at the beginning of a project; as any issues arise, find solutions without compromising quality, team morale, or budget
- Own and manage project brief with extended team, inclusive of scope of deliverables, hours, timeline, and project requirements/processes
- Ability to build accurate timelines for medium sized projects; identify solutions when a project deviates from schedule; responsible for escalating potential scope creep
- Understand the resources needed for different types of deliverables and can estimate allocations independently for medium and integrated programs

SELF LEADERSHIP AND TEAM EFFECTIVENESS
- Advance on ability to anticipate project challenges and communicate action-oriented risk mitigation plan
- Develop skills in conflict resolution and creative problem solving
- Begin to participate in the hiring process, partnering with hiring managers to interview candidates and support the onboarding of new team members
- Mentor and train junior team members; may manage interns
- Participate in professional activities that would increase experience and effectiveness in interacting with people from cultural backgrounds other than own
- Consistently display behaviors that support integration
BUSINESS ACUMEN
- Develop and manage account SOWs with finance leads across different offices, own burn reporting while providing frequent updates to key stakeholders, including clear analysis and recommendations based on data
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of connection between the SOW, resource allocations and burn report - and impact to all if scope creep / delays occur
- Manage ongoing deliverable level tracker in correlation to scope
Minimum Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience in a similar role and be confident managing cross-regional projects.

- Be a strong hands-on individual that can organise and operate multi-faceted projects
- Have excellent organisation and time management skills
- Be comfortable in ensuring the right processes are followed and when to bend
Management / Leadership
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal team members across multiple levels, building trust in your abilities to get the job done effectively
- Be able to navigate complexities of team members: knowing when to be strict and when to be flexible
- Exhibit strong conflict resolution skills moderating difficult discussions and resolving situations in a manner favourable to both client and internal teams
- Be a proactive, solution-oriented, and a strategic leader
Project Management
- Have advanced understanding of project management methodology, technology and tools
- Understand how to manage multiple types of deliverables (digital, social, video, analytics, planning, creative)
- Ability to adapt project plan to accommodate unforeseen situations
- Be the arbiter of process: defines roles and responsibilities clearly, leveraging experience to ensure work meets the client, customer and brand requirements and provides input to the internal team as needed
- Deploy effective resource management in collaboration with capability leads, resource managers and agency finance (business manager)
- Anticipate and plan for upcoming resource needs, as well as controlling expectations with internal teams and clients around how quickly resources may or may not be available

Business Acumen
- Understand and be able to articulate financial principles and project budget status in a clear manner
- Proactively prepare and present tracking reports for service levels and resource to manage potential risks and ensure fiscal health of project
- Work closely with multiple finance teams
- Ensure client approvals for recognition in place and invoicing schedule planned
- Be comfortable digging into account finances, developing appropriate staffing models and tracking burn rates
- Know when a change order is needed and work with client team to communicate the change proactively to the client (before it is too late to ask for more funds)
