Project Manager

Reports to: Head of Projects & Operations

This is an in-office role.

Salary: £45,000 pa

Company: Creative Industry

Overview/Purpose

The Project Manager serves as the critical link between clients, internal departments, the studio directorate, and external stakeholders. The role ensures the seamless delivery of varied projects and campaigns across experiential, strategy, image, film, and design, from concept through to execution.

The Project Manager provides oversight, ensures quality control, and supports the Head of Project & Operations, Client Services Director, and studio team in delivering best-in-class results across global and culturally driven projects.

Core Responsibilities

Project planning & delivery

  • Lead end-to-end project management across high-profile client accounts, including global campaigns, strategic briefs, and culturally significant activations.
  • Draft and issue detailed project scopes, timelines, and deliverable documentation.
  • Coordinate the flow of information across creative, production, and strategic teams – including feedback, deck updates, and production queries.
  • Brief the creative and production teams clearly, accurately sharing client and project information.
  • Onboard and oversee external suppliers, assessing budgets and monitoring deliverables with the studio directorate.
  • Ensure all project outputs meet material, aesthetic, and strategic standards of the company.
  • Conduct ad hoc research and support documentation for pitches and live projects.

  • Act as the key liaison for clients, ensuring expectations are well managed and satisfaction levels remain high.
  • Drive effective meetings, setting agendas, managing expectations, and ensuring all relevant team members are prepared to contribute.
  • Document decisions and project developments to ensure a consistent record of communication and agency-wide visibility on project evolution.
  • Support negotiations on delivery timings or scope changes, balancing client needs with internal team’s direction and capacity.

Commercial & operational excellence

  • Produce and manage project budgets, reporting on variances and overages.
  • Monitor ongoing project costs, maintaining financial documentation, and liaising with Accounts for invoice reconciliation.
  • Approve and chase invoices, ensuring prompt and accurate processing.
  • Draft and manage contracts and NDAs, including those for high-profile talent and third-party collaborators.
  • Proactively identify process bottlenecks and suggest innovative workflows to improve studio efficiency.
  • Archive and file key project materials, maintaining a thorough documentation trail.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, with a strong background in the cultural, design, and creative industries.
  • Proven success managing large-scale budgets (£1m+) and international clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects across multi-disciplinary teams including designers, strategists, architects, and press.
  • Strong ability to foresee and mitigate project risks.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, including formal correspondence and presentation delivery.
  • Experience managing relationships with high-profile talent and their representatives.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with tight deadlines.
  • Highly organised, strategic thinker, and solutions-oriented.
  • Strong knowledge of the cultural and creative landscape, particularly across design, architecture, and events sectors.
  • Aesthetic sensibility and ability to assess creative quality against brand/brief standards.
  • A strong understanding of experiential and spatial design projects.
  • Ability to work across multiple concurrent projects while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience working with press and media teams for campaign rollouts.
  • Confidence navigating complex stakeholder structures with diplomacy and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard project management and budgeting tools.
  • Positive, proactive mindset with a collaborative working style.
  • Flexibility to travel and attend on-site events or partner meetings as required.
