Job Title
Manage MEP quality, safety and schedule on behalf of the owner, liaising with general contractors, consultants, equipment suppliers and regulatory authorities, and representing the owner professionally in all matters.
Coordinate the delivery and factory witness inspection of OFCI/OFE equipment with vendors and procurement agents, verifying compatibility and compliance with project specifications and design requirements upon site delivery.
Act as the primary point of contact between the HV Supplier / DLO and GC/D&B Contractor, overseeing the execution of power distribution systems from substation to data modules and managing risks associated with power availability for commissioning.
Coordinate testing, commissioning and energisation activities of SDCs & PMDCs in collaboration with the HV Supplier / DLO, GC/D&B Contractor and engineering teams, and support the CxA in the handover of installed MEP & OFE equipment.
Work closely with design, civil, structural and architectural teams to ensure integrated project delivery, conduct periodic quality inspections and support the final project closeout and lessons learned process.
Requirements
- Proven MEP management experience across the full construction lifecycle, ideally within data centre or mission-critical environments.
- Strong knowledge of commissioning, energisation and power distribution systems, including coordination with HV suppliers and GC/D&B contractors.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with contractors, consultants, suppliers and regulatory authorities.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, combined with a highly organised and detail-oriented approach.
- Field / on-site delivery experience and familiarity with OFCI/OFE procurement, factory witness testing and commissioning processes would be a distinct advantage.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
