We have partnered with a leading utility-scale battery energy storage company to appoint a Project Manager into their Technology department. The company develops, constructs and manages utility-scale BESS assets across the UK, playing a critical role in the energy transition, and this is a genuine opportunity to lead delivery on high-profile projects from development through to commissioning.

Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of utility-scale BESS EPC projects, from development through construction, commissioning and handover.
- Manage project teams and contractors against programme, budget and quality targets.
- Drive technology selection, design and grid compliance, working closely with DNOs and consultants.
- Act as key technical interface for clients, EPCs and vendors.

Ideal Candidate
- Full lifecycle BESS project management experience, with a background in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems or a related discipline (or equivalent professional qualification).
- Track record delivering large-scale EPC projects, with strong technical knowledge of BESS, power systems and grid integration, plus a solid understanding of UK grid codes, DNO/TSO processes and contracts such as FIDIC, NEC or JCT.
- Chartered status or a recognised PM qualification (PRINCE2, APM, PMP) is an advantage, along with hands-on experience in FAT/SAT, commissioning and performance testing.
