Agile Project Manager - ASAP Hire
Initial Contract Length: 3 Months initially (high likelihood of extension)
Work Location: 1-2 Days onsite (Flexible)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

We are partnering with a leading global consultancy to support the delivery of a large-scale, multi-year digital transformation programme for a major player in the UK utilities sector, a critical initiative reshaping how the organisation monitors, manages and optimises its infrastructure through advanced data, AI and digital innovation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery of Asset Intelligence initiatives, including digital twins, asset monitoring, network optimisation, and predictive analytics pilots
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams data engineers, operational SMEs, suppliers, and innovation specialists
- Maintain Agile delivery cadences to accelerate development and support iterative release
- Facilitate testing and validation of new technologies, including computer vision, ML analytics, IoT/telemetry, and AI-based decision support
- Manage timelines, budgets, and resources using Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Act as key point of contact between internal departments and external parties (contractors, regulators, customers)
- Manage stakeholder expectations across technical and non-technical audiences via clear reporting and updates
- Ensure data-driven solutions comply with data governance, cyber security, and operational integrity standards
- Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, and delivery boards (Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello)
- Drive adherence to regulatory, safety, and QA standards, including audits and readiness reviews
- Support transition of pilot technologies into scaled BAU deployment

- Awareness of emerging tech AI, digital twins, computer vision, sensing
- Strong risk and compliance management, with mitigation experience
- Excellent stakeholder management across engineers, regulators, customers, and suppliers
- Cross-functional leadership across innovation, design, operations, and IT
- Familiarity with MSP, Visio, and MS Office suite
