Project Manager | Technology Transformation & Delivery Coordination
Location: Reading (Hybrid 2 - 3 days per week)
Duration: Initial 6 Month Contract
Day Rate: Competitive Inside IR35
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a major Technology Transformation programme.
This role goes beyond traditional project management. We're looking for someone who can act as the central coordinator across multiple programmes, projects, functions, and technology teams, ensuring alignment, communication, governance, and delivery remain on track across a complex transformation landscape.
The successful candidate will be a highly organised delivery professional with strong stakeholder management skills, capable of bringing together diverse teams, managing dependencies, and ensuring key initiatives are aligned and progressing effectively.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the delivery of complex technology projects from initiation through to deployment and closure.
- Coordinate activity across multiple programmes, projects, and workstreams to ensure alignment of priorities, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Act as a central point of communication between Technology, Business, Product, Architecture, Engineering, Service, and external suppliers.
- Drive governance, reporting, RAID management, planning, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Ensure project and programme dependencies are identified, managed, and communicated effectively.
- Facilitate decision-making forums, project reviews, and cross-functional working sessions.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and delivery plans.
- Build strong relationships across business and technology teams, helping to resolve issues and remove delivery blockers.
- Provide clear and concise updates to senior stakeholders, ensuring visibility of progress, risks, and key decisions.

What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' experience delivering technology projects within large, complex organisations.
- Strong project management experience across technology, digital, or transformation programmes.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, projects, and workstreams simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing RAID logs, governance, planning, dependencies, risks, and budgets.
- Strong influencing and relationship-building capabilities across business and technology functions.
- Experience working with third-party suppliers and multi-vendor environments.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities.

Desirable Experience
- Retail industry experience.
- eCommerce, Digital, Supply Chain, Store Operations, or Enterprise Technology programmes.
- Experience delivering full-stack technology implementations.
- PRINCE2, PMP, APM, Scrum Master, or SAFe certifications.
