Project Manager (Document Controller) – Capital Projects / Construction / HV Electrical / AI Data Centre builds

Outstanding opportunity for a Project Manager with document controlling experience on major capital projects. This is a standout chance to join the data centre construction revolution to support the future of AI.

You’ll drive information governance across major Grid Connection Works, HV substations and large-scale electrical infrastructure projects. If you thrive in technical environments and bring a project-management mindset to controlling complex engineering deliverables, this role is for you.

What you’ll lead:

  • Full lifecycle document control across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover
  • High-volume HV engineering deliverables: SLDs, schematics, protection & control docs, cable schedules, layouts, calculations, testing/commissioning packs, and as-builts
  • MDRs, SDRs, design registers, and procurement trackers
  • Cross-discipline coordination with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, OEMs, and client/DNO interfaces
  • Programme-critical tracking of deadlines, reviews, approvals, and overdue actions
  • Quality assurance and compliance with project IM procedures and ISO standards
  • Training engineers to manage information correctly at source

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
