Technical Project Manager
๐ Location: Gloucester Area (Fully Site-Based)
๐ Security Clearance: Active eDV Clearance Required

Are you an experienced Technical Project Manager who enjoys working across a broad technology landscape and delivering complex projects within secure, fast-paced environments?
We're seeking a driven and organised Technical Project Manager to join a dynamic technology delivery team within our Aerospace, Defence and Security business. You'll be responsible for leading a diverse portfolio of projects spanning infrastructure, cloud, networking, security, end-user computing and application environments, ensuring successful delivery of critical solutions for our customers.
This role would suit someone who thrives in technically complex environments, enjoys working closely with engineering teams, and is confident managing multiple workstreams while balancing customer expectations, governance requirements and delivery priorities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of multiple technology projects simultaneously.
- Building and maintaining project plans, RAID logs, governance documentation and stakeholder communications.
- Working closely with technical teams across infrastructure, cloud, networking, security and application environments.
- Managing project budgets, schedules, risks, dependencies and resource allocation.
- Facilitating project governance activities and providing regular reporting to senior stakeholders and customers.
- Driving successful delivery within Agile, Waterfall and hybrid project environments.
- Using Jira to track project progress, manage delivery activities and support reporting requirements.
- Ensuring projects are delivered to agreed scope, quality, cost and timescale objectives.
- Building strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and technical teams to enable successful project outcomes.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Active Enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV) clearance, maintained throughout your tenure in the role.
- Proven experience delivering complex technical projects across multiple technology domains.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, governance frameworks and delivery methodologies.
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall and/or hybrid delivery environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Jira for project tracking, reporting and team coordination.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to influence, coordinate and lead teams without direct line management responsibility.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance customer requirements with business objectives.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience delivering projects within managed services, technology services, or complex enterprise environments.
- Exposure to technologies such as:
- Microsoft Azure
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- VMware
- Cisco
- Citrix
- End-user computing and desktop technologies
- Experience working within highly secure or government-facing environments.
- Relevant project management certifications such as PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum or APM qualifications.
Security Requirements
Due to the nature of the work, applicants must hold active Enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV) clearance and be able to maintain this level of clearance throughout their employment.
