🚀 Senior Project Manager (Education)

📍 Remote | UK Travel

💷 £65,000 - £80,000 + Excellent Benefits including £5k Car Allowance & a 9-Day working fortnight!

Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager with a background delivering Microsoft digital transformation projects within Higher Education?

This is far more than a traditional PM role.

Our client, an award-winning Microsoft Solutions Partner, is looking for someone who can successfully deliver complex programmes whilst mentoring and developing the wider Project Management team. You'll remain hands-on with delivery but also play an integral role in shaping best practice, supporting colleagues and helping drive continuous improvement across the business.

What you'll be doing:

  • ✅ Leading end-to-end Microsoft digital transformation programmes from pre-sales through to successful delivery
  • ✅ Managing project scope, governance, RAID logs, budgets, forecasting, reporting, change control and commercial performance
  • ✅ Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Universities, Colleges and Higher Education institutions
  • ✅ Leading multi-disciplinary delivery teams across consultants, technical specialists and client stakeholders
  • ✅ Supporting pre-sales, project mobilisation and client engagement activities
  • ✅ Mentoring and coaching Project Managers, sharing best practice and helping develop future talent

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
