Electrical Project Manager

Commercial Fit Out | London & Home Counties

£60,000-£75,000 PAYE/ Similar day rate (+ benefits) | Permanent

We're working with an established specialist electrical contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects across London and the Home Counties, who are looking to add a hands-on Electrical Project Manager to their team.

This is a great opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager who enjoys being close to the detail - managing projects from pre-construction through to completion, coordinating with clients, main contractors, consultants and site teams to make sure everything is delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

The Role

You'll take ownership of electrical installation packages across commercial fit-out projects, acting as the key link between the office, site and wider project team. You'll be involved in:

  • Managing electrical projects from pre-start through to practical completion and handover
  • Planning and programming electrical works around the main contractor's programme
  • Coordinating with clients, architects, M&E consultants, main contractors and other trades
  • Managing site labour, subcontractors and material procurement
  • Monitoring project costs, variations and change orders
  • Carrying out regular site inspections and quality checks
  • Ensuring works comply with BS 7671, Building Regulations and H&S requirements
  • Attending site and progress meetings, providing clear project updates
  • Managing project risks and resolving issues as they arise
  • Overseeing O&M manuals, test certificates and final handover documentation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
