About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will own a portfolio of client school implementations end-to-end: from initial scope sign-off through to final project handover.
Establishing new processes, migrating years of curriculum data, or rolling out software solutions is a major transition for any school. You will serve as the trusted, single point of contact guiding schools through this journey. You will translate complex client needs into clear technical requirements for internal teams, manage detailed implementation schedules, and maintain regular in-person and virtual communication to ensure smooth, successful project rollouts.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- End-to-End Ownership: Lead the complete lifecycle of assigned client projects, ensuring documented scopes are delivered cleanly from kickoff to formal project closure.
- Client Advisory: Serve as the primary point of contact for school leaders, understanding their goals deeply enough to guide strategic decisions and navigate change.
- Technical & Business Translation: Bridge the gap between school leaders and internal technical services teams, translating educational needs into technical requirements and technical details into plain language.
- Project Planning & Governance: Build and maintain detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and timelines using standard templates, ensuring accurate tracking as projects progress.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Align internal specialists delivering configuration, curriculum data migration, and training to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Resource & Timeline Management: Manage resourcing dependencies and schedule overlaps, proactively identifying and resolving timeline risks.
- Seamless Handovers: Transition completed projects to long-term client success contacts with comprehensive documentation and clear handover summaries.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
