Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager Engineer to join our newly established Rapid Response Team (RRT) and Advanced Development (AD) organization within our Aerospace, Defense & Marine business.
This is a unique opportunity to lead innovative engineering and technology development projects that directly impact our customers and future product portfolio. You will play a key role in accelerating innovation, driving rapid prototyping initiatives, and supporting the development of next-generation technologies.
Working at the intersection of engineering, research, and customer solutions, you will lead cross-functional teams to transform ideas into prototypes and enable faster delivery of innovative solutions to market.
Job Requirements
- Lead and deliver multiple engineering, technology development, and R&D projects from concept through prototype delivery.
- Drive project execution by managing scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and priorities.
- Enable rapid customer response and prototype development through agile project planning and execution.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, Commercial Teams, Procurement, and Supply Chain functions to ensure successful delivery.
- Establish clear project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Support the evaluation and prioritization of new customer opportunities and technology initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the development of efficient project management practices.
- Support the transition of successful research and development projects into formal product development programs.

Required
What your background should look like
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or another relevant technical discipline.
- Proven experience managing complex technical, engineering, product development, or R&D projects.
- Strong project management expertise, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and risk management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across multiple functions.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with competing priorities and ambitious delivery timelines.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Preferred
- Aerospace, Defense, Advanced Manufacturing, Marine, Automotive, or related industry experience.
- Familiarity with product development, prototyping, and engineering design processes.
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods such as machining, assembly, additive manufacturing, or rapid prototyping.
- PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or other Project Management certifications.
