Project Manager - Engineering Manufacturer
Location: Leeds
If you're someone who enjoys steering complex projects from plan to delivery—while prioritising Health & Safety and keeping customers fully informed—this is a great opportunity to make an impact. This is a 3-month contract (with the possibility of extension).
What you'll be doing:
- Role model positive Health & Safety behaviours and help embed a strong safety culture through observation, intervention, and safety walks
- Take overall ownership of project deliverables: hardware, financial/commercial outputs, quality documentation, dispute management, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery
- Support the sales team by helping ensure tenders are prepared timely and professionally
- Evaluate customer requirements to ensure the right service/product and pricing are proposed
- Ensure tenders meet commercial guidelines and are signed off in line with delegation of authority
- Drive project profitability, ensure on-time launch, and run effective kick-off meetings with complete handover documentation
- Prepare quality documentation and customer quality plans
- Coordinate with procurement and operations to secure required refurbished/bought-out parts in line with timelines
- Build strong cross-functional and customer/supplier relationships to reduce commercial risk
- Attend client site meetings and provide proactive job-status communication
